Service Centre start to finish.

An extensive flagship build for Waitomo on the developing eastern boundary of Hamilton, within the Ruakura Superhub. The service centre sits within the "golden triangle" for New Zealand's supply chain, and will be anchored by a 30-hectare inland port.

AND. Architecture was involved from inception, working closely with all stakeholders — including Waitomo Petroleum as primary tenant, alongside the consultant groups for McDonald's and KFC, the development's other lease holders.

Beyond site planning, AND. Architecture designed Waitomo's flagship C-Store, incorporating several sustainability initiatives across the site. The building was designed for flexibility, so it could adapt to tenant requirements — a benefit realised during construction, as AND. was able to quickly adjust the design as tenants came on board.
